Pioneer Automotive Completes Acquisition of Ketchum Auto

KETCHUM, Idaho — October 16, 2026 — Pioneer Automotive has completed its acquisition of the business operations of Ketchum Auto, Inc. The 10th Street location will reopen as Pioneer Automotive on Monday, October 19.

Pioneer Automotive is a locally owned auto repair business founded by Tim Garza. The acquisition expands the company’s presence in the Wood River Valley and significantly increases its capacity to serve local customers.

“Ketchum Auto has been part of our community for decades, and I’m honored to be trusted to carry that work forward,” Garza said. “I’m grateful to Ryan Dean for working with me on this opportunity. I grew up in the Wood River Valley, so investing in a local business I know and continuing to build a trusted, customer-first auto care center in Ketchum means a great deal to me.”

Pioneer Automotive will continue operating its Bell Drive location while investing in improvements to the 10th Street location, which will serve as the company’s main headquarters. Across the two locations, the expansion increases Pioneer Automotive’s indoor repair capacity from one bay to five and provides dedicated space for its mobile service fleet.

Pioneer Automotive offers vehicle maintenance and repair, diagnostics, tire sales and service, and mobile mechanic and tire services. Beginning Monday, October 19, customers will be served at both the company’s Bell Drive shop and its new headquarters at 360 East 10th Street in Ketchum.
