Hi, I’m Tim. I grew up right here in the Wood River Valley, so I understand how challenging it can be to find reliable, local auto service. I started Pioneer Automotive to change that—making car care simple, whether you bring your vehicle to the shop or use our mobile service.

After earning my business degree in Boise, I spent nearly 20 years solving complex problems and managing large-scale software projects for companies like Clearwater Analytics, HP, Google, Blackstone, and Forterra. But throughout all of it, my real passion was always cars. From fixing and restoring vehicles as a kid to launching Garza’s Garage in 2019, working on cars has always been part of who I am.

In 2022, my wife, Nadine, and I returned home with our three kids to reconnect with the community we love. Then in 2025, I left the corporate world to pursue this passion full-time—serving neighbors, providing honest auto care, and helping keep the Wood River Valley moving.
