Hi, I’m Tim. I grew up in the Wood River Valley, so I know how hard it can be to get your car serviced locally. I started Pioneer Automotive to change that—making auto care easy, whether you drop your car off or use our mobile service.

After earning my business degree in Boise and spending 20 years solving complex problems and running software projects for companies like Clearwater Analytics, HP, Google, Blackstone, and Forterra, I realized my true passion had always been cars. From tinkering as a kid to launching Garza’s Garage in 2019, I’ve been fixing, restoring, and upgrading vehicles for years.

In 2022, my wife, Nadine, and I moved back home with our three kids to live and work in the community we love. After leaving corporate life in 2025, I decided it was time to follow my passion full-time—wrenching, helping neighbors, and keeping the Wood River Valley moving.
